United Nations invites applications for journalism fellowships

Pretoria, South Africa – The United Nations is inviting applications for a journalism fellowship under the Dag Hammarskjöld Scholarship Fund for Journalists. The fellowship, which is open to all professional journalists from developing countries, is available to radio, television, print and web journalists.

United Nations Secretary-General arrives in South Africa on official visit

Pretoria, South Africa – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in South Africa today on official visit as part of his five-nation tour of Africa. He was met upon arrival by senior South African government officials who included Foreign Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.
