Call for Expression of Interest: Anti Human Trafficking Training Curriculum Development Project

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission with Regional Functions (MRF), in Pretoria and the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) are seeking expressions of interest from individuals, organizations or companies interested in developing a module-based Anti Human Trafficking Training Curriculum, and supporting materials, for use in the capacity building of relevant government and NGO institutions with funding by the European Union.

Expressions of interest must be received no later than the stated closing date. The expression of interest must be a maximum of 4 pages, single sided and single spaced, and the font size must be no smaller than Arial 11 points. In addition, all parties who have expressed an interest must provide the names of three (3) references who can verify the capacity, skills and experience of the party who has expressed interest.

Selection of all parties who have expressed an interest will involve consideration of the following criteria: demonstrated knowledge in the field or related area/s, teaching experience in relevant field or related area/s, demonstrated experience in curriculum development and educational environment, demonstrated experience in working with the South African Qualifications Authority in curriculum accreditation, high level of writing skills.

Successful parties who have expressed an interest will be invited to attend a half day public information workshop in mid April 2008 organized to furnish further details on the project and address any inquiries. Subsequent to the workshop, parties who have expressed an interest and remain interested will be invited to submit a detailed implementation workplan, budget and relevant supporting documents to be used in the grant of a consultancy contract to one or more parties who have expressed an interest.
