Are you a young journalist or broadcaster from South Africa interested in the work of the United Nations?
The United Nations Reham Al-Farra (RAF) Memorial Journalist Fellowship Programme provides journalists with an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the work of the United Nations. It is also an opportunity to meet journalists from other countries and exchange ideas with UN communication professionals.
This year, the Programme will be held in New York, from 10 September through 7 October, 2015.
The Fellowship is open to journalists and broadcasters from 35 countries including South Africa, with the intention of selecting 15 candidates, each from a different country maintaining a gender, language, experience and type of media balance.
The application for the 2015 RAF Programme is now open. For the list of participating countries, eligibility, background information and application form, see: http://outreach.un.org/raf
