UN Women South Africa Multi-Country Office launches its Civil Society Advisory Group (CSAG)

UN Women South Africa Multi-Country Office officially launched its Civil Society Advisory Group (CSAG) this week. With members from non-governmental organizations, academia, research institutions and private sector organisations, the group will be an important consultative body in relation to UN Women’s programming activities.

The purpose of this meeting was to ensure a broad range of voices were heard regarding the key priorities that need to be addressed if we are to end all forms of gender discrimination in South Africa, especially the scourge of violence against women.
