UNAIDS has published a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to select a suitable consultant to provide Consultancy services to UNAIDS Regional Office for Eastern and Southern Africa Region (RST ESA), to- coordinate/liaise with judiciaries bodies on work on Health and Social Justice (Executives bodies, Legislatives, National Human Rights Institutions, SADC Lawyers’ Association, CSOs etc.), in the development of a good knowledge base on Legal, Human Rights and Gender issues in relation to vulnerable groups.
- Coordinate with key partners in SADC and EAC region (Executives, Parliamentarians, regionals CSOs, UN Agencies) involved on the development of Policy Brief on HIV and Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights, including in COVID19 context (e.g draft reports, background materials and other relevant documents on law and policy)
- Liaise with NANHRIs on work of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) publication of Best practices on HIV/SRHR/AGYW in all their diversity, including COVID-19 across and dissemination in 11 countries of ESA (e. g. preparation of documentation, drafting of notes and reports) Contribute to drafting of a flagship policy report on HIV/SRHR/SGBV policy linkages (Knowledge Management): Shares the results of Policy and legal work and analysis with UCOs and RATESA as activities are provided.
